The flock of livestock is a family heritage of Veli from Kukës.

“ “I don’t have this job to buy it, but I have it to pass it on,” proudly shares Veli, referring to his family heritage, which today serves as his main source of income. “I have 300 heads of cattle here on my farm and raising goats and the production of dairy products are the main tasks of a farmer from the village of Bardhoc in Kukës. Specifically, we raise goats and process the cheese ourselves, in the absence of a cheese factory in our area that is much needed.” He is supported by ARDA through the National Scheme. Today, he has around 300 cattle heads on his farm. Veli says they have been a motivation for him to further engage in this sector.
