ARDA and the Croatian Counterpart Agency (PAAFRD) signed a cooperation agreement in Zagreb, Croatia, aiming to exchange information, experience, and methods used in the development of operational systems for the implementation of EU funds . The agreement includes the joint organization of conferences, seminars, and trainings on EU fund management , direct payments, rural development, and market measures.
As part of this agreement, a delegation consisting of staff from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MBZHR) and the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (ARDA), led by the General Director, Mrs. Ardita Kuçi, conducted a study visit to the Counterpart Agency in Zagreb.
The study visit, supported by GIZ, aimed at exchanging experiences on systems for registering and managing agricultural land data (LPIS and ARKOD).
The Albanian delegation was introduced to the functioning of payment management systems (IACS) and agricultural activity monitoring (AMS), participating in practical trainings at the central and regional offices of PAAFRD.
This partnership is an important step towards modernizing agricultural services in Albania, in line with European standards and best practices
