ARDA participated in a roundtable discussion held in Laknas, together with the Albanian Agribusiness Council and representatives from public institutions at both local and central levels, to discuss livestock farming. During the meeting, the importance of digitization in the sector was emphasized, aiming to provide assistance to both livestock farmers and consumers.
The Director of ARDA, Eranda Selmanaj, highlighted the support provided in this field, listing the funding programs for supportive measures from the state budget and the IPARD II Program, which have improved and facilitated work processes by integrating technology on farms. Selmanaj mentioned that there will be a doubling of funds for rural development in the coming year.
