Today, the journey of the “Europe Week” Fair, organized by “Europe House,” commenced in the center of Shkodra, near the municipality square. The European Delegation in Albania, along with Alexis Hupin, Chargé d’Affaires of the EU Delegation, visited the stands of businesses and entities funded by the EU in the Shkodra region. This year, “Europe Week” focuses on the core values of the European Union, including culture, youth, citizenship, and business.
ARDA (Agency for Agriculture and Rural Development) participated in the fair, providing information to interested parties about the IPARD funds, accompanied by entities financed in the first call of the IPARD-II program in this area. “We are proud to reaffirm the values: respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, the rule of law, respect for human rights, non-discrimination, solidarity, and gender equality,” expressed Alexis Hupin.
This fair will also travel to Vlora on May 5th, at the “Lungo Mare” events square, and to Tirana, at the pedestrian area, on May 9th. The focus of the fair is to promote European values and showcase the EU’s contribution to various sectors and initiatives in the region.
