At the 4th meeting of the IPARD III Monitoring Committee, together with representatives of the European Commission, the European Union Delegation to Albania, implementing structures, and international partners, a detailed review was conducted of the IPARD III Programme, as the main instrument of the European Union’s support for the development of agriculture and rural areas in the country.
During the meeting, the progress achieved so far was assessed, and the future priorities of the programme were discussed, with a focus on the development of new procedures, the accreditation process of new support measures, as well as strengthening institutional capacities for the most effective implementation of European Union funds.
The IPARD Programme remains a key instrument for the modernization of the agricultural sector and rural development in Albania, contributing to increased competitiveness of farms and agro-processing, strengthening food safety, and promoting sustainable rural development.
