ARDA, in collaboration with MBZHR (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), has launched an informative campaign about the financial support for wheat production in the country, as well as the support for fishing vessels with fuel. The meetings were held in all regions of the country, with high attendance and particular interest in these new measures of the National Scheme 2022.
The main goal of Measure 7/1 is to increase the cultivated wheat areas by providing farmers with 30,000 Albanian Lek per hectare, for areas not less than 1 hectare. Participants were informed about the online application process through e-albania, as well as the necessary documentation required for fuel support for fishing vessels.
The application period for wheat support will be open from September 1st to September 23rd, 2022. This time, the “first come, first served” principle will not be applied. Instead, registration online will be sufficient, and farmers’ requests for this subsidy will be ranked based on the cultivated areas, starting from the largest to the smallest, according to the regular documentation and criteria mentioned in the guidelines.
For the support of 40 Albanian Lek per liter for fishing vessels’ fuel, documentation will be submitted according to the guidelines, and invoices from July 1st to December 31st, 2022, will be considered valid. The campaign will conclude with the meeting in the Durrës region on August 31st, 2022.
