Today, at the central offices of ARDA, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between ARDA, UBSHR (Union of Albanian Municipalities in the Region), and HELP-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. Albania branch. According to this memorandum, the parties commit to collaborate under the HELP and WORD projects of UBSHR, which are being implemented in the territory of the Municipality of Tirana. The collaboration aims to support farms, rural businesses in general, and specifically agrotourism, as well as provide assistance to women and young people employed or self-employed in these sectors.
This agreement represents a new development in the rural economy, offering a helping hand to emerging economic ventures that arise daily in Albania’s villages. Eranda Selmanaj, General Director of ARDA, expressed that this initiative is a direct support to young people and their innovative ideas in the fields of agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, and organic production.
