The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Tirana, has opened the call for the National Agricultural Training Scheme for farmers and livestock breeders who want to improve their productivity on their farms. This program aims to establish model farms in Albania by disseminating best agricultural and livestock farming practices and increasing yields in greenhouses, fields, orchards, and livestock barns through knowledge transfer and the adoption of best agricultural and livestock farming techniques. Over 30 farms will be closely monitored by the professors of the Agricultural University of Tirana. The selected farmers will have the opportunity to witness the implementation of sustainable production techniques on their farms and serve as demonstration farms for other farmers in the area.
