Today, the first contracts of Call 4 for Measure 7, “Rural and Nature Tourism,” were signed under the IPARD-II program. The IPARD-II program is co-financed with a 75% contribution from the European Union funds and 25% from the Albanian State Budget.
So far, contracts have been signed with 50 agrotourism enterprises, with a total investment value of 17 million Albanian Lek. Out of this amount, 9.75 million Albanian Lek is in the form of grants, which will be used to add approximately 300 new accommodation capacities.
The signing of contracts continues to ensure the full absorption of the allocated budget for this call for applications. This investment will boost rural and nature tourism in Albania and contribute to the development of the agrotourism sector.
