Director General of ARDA, Frida Krifca, signed a cooperation agreement today with the President of the Turkish Payments Agency (TKDK), Hakan Kalender, in Ankara. The agreement aims to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions in areas of mutual interest and enhance the absorption of funds from the IPARD program, co-financed by the European Union. Additionally, through a collaborative strategy between the two agencies, the exchange of experiences and training of field experts is targeted to ensure effective fund absorption and performance in the implementation of EU programs.
The Payment Agency of Turkey (TKDK), accredited in 2011 for the management and implementation of the IPARD program, is one of the largest implementers of the program, with the result of a large number of financial projects.
The focus of the cooperation will extend to all their capacities and the improvement of the project acceptance process, giving priority to the economic impact of the diversity of the production of products, as well as in this field. In this meeting and an important administrative control, before and after contracting, as well as technical management of the project approval process.
