Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, visited the Vlora-Fish facility in Orikum, supported by ARDA through the National Scheme 2018, as one of the best investments in Vlora for fish storage, processing, and refrigeration. This investment, established in collaboration with a local fish farming business, has a capacity of more than 500 tons for both the domestic and international markets.
Several prominent fishermen from Vlora were present, expressing the particular importance of fishing and marketing seafood products, which are closely linked to tourism, the development of local businesses, and increased production capacities. Prime Minister Rama, among other things, also promised the establishment of a modern fishing port in Vlora.
