The Director General of the Agriculture and Rural Development Agency (ARDA), Ms. Ardita Kuçi, participated in the 57th Conference of Directors of EU Paying Agencies held in Warsaw, Poland, under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The conference brought together representatives from paying agencies of EU Member States and candidate countries, as well as officials from the European Commission, the European Court of Auditors, and the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).
Participants visited Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), where advanced technologies supporting modern agriculture were showcased. The delegation was introduced to innovative solutions in horticulture, including the use of drones for spraying and autonomous systems for agricultural machinery operation. In addition, a visit was made to the Center for Translational Medicine, one of the most modern scientific and research centers in Poland, where interdisciplinary research in veterinary medicine and biotechnology is conducted.
ARDA’s participation in this high-level event reflects the agency’s continued commitment to closely follow European developments in the management of agricultural funds and to strengthen cooperation with counterparts from EU Member States and candidate countries.
