Directory of Projects Selection and Approval

General Description

Directory of Projects Selection and Approvalplays an important role in the implementation of compliance and legality checks, selection and approval of applications according to the guidelines.The Directorate is responsible for the implementation of the following functions:

  1. Provides, manages and follows the budget allocation and implementation process referring to the guidance for the sectors to be supported by subsidies.
  2. Reviews administrative and technical documentation of IPARD projects and National Schemes.
  3. Identifies irregularities in the documentation and reflects them in the decisions on the progress of the application.
  4. Ensures that the documentation has been reviewed in accordance with the accredited manual of procedures.

DPSA consists of 5 sectors:

  • IPARD Sector of Selection and Approval for Measure 1 and Measure 11,
  • IPARD Sector of Selection and Approval for Measure 3, Measure 4 and Measure 7,
  • Sector of Measure 5, Technical Assistance and Rural Infrastructure,
  • Sector of Selection and Approval of Projects for National Schemes,
  • Agropoints

IPARD Sector of Selection and Approval for Measure 1 and Measure 11

Sector of Selection and Approval of IPARD Projects for Measure 1 and Measure 11, is composed of 17 (seventeen) Inspectors and 1 (one) Responsible, has as function the administrative control of applications to ensure the accuracy of the documentation sent by the applicant and consequently the validity or not of the application, as well as prepares the financial planning of the budgets allocated for each call for application.

IPARD Sector of Selection and Approval for Measure 3, Measure 4 and Measure 7

Sector of Selection and Approval of IPARD Projects for Measure 3, Measure 4 and Measure 7 composed of 16 (sixteen) Inspectors and 1 (one) Responsible, has as function the administrative control of applications to ensure the accuracy of the documentation sent by the applicant and consequently the validity or not of the application, as well as prepares the financial planning of the budgets allocated for each call for application.

Sector of Measure 5, Technical Assistance and Rural Infrastructure

Sector of Measure 5, Technical Assistance and Rural Infrastructure, is composed of 4 (four) inspectors and 1 (one) Head, follows various complaints and requests from applicants who have applied for IPARD Grant schemes as well as checks and evaluates the applicants’ files for their approval in accordance with the Manual of Procedure and the relevant Guidelines.

Sector of Selection and Approval of Projects for National Schemes

Sector of Selection and Approval of Projects for National Schemes is composed of 7 (seven) Inspectors and 1 (one) Supervisor, whose function is the administrative control of applications for National Schemes financed by the State Budget, to ensure the accuracy of the documentation sent by the applicant and consequently the validity or otherwise of the application.

AGROPOINTS

Agropoints are composed of 20 ( twenty) Info-Application Specialists, with the function of providing unique services to farmers, as a direct service delivery unit for farmers in Agropika, from Arda.
